2005-12-23atsec information security sincerely thanks our customers, partners, and suppliers for helping us to achieve a tremendous 2005. Best wishes to all for a healthy, safe, and successful year in 2006!
Here are some highlights:
- In 2005, atsec continued to build our strong record in successfully completing Common Criteria evaluations of large, complex software products, including evaluations of Novell/SUSE Linux Enterprise Server 9, IBM z/OS V1R6, and z/VM V5R1.
- In 2005, atsec expanded our scope of services, adding accreditation of our FIPS lab and interim accreditation of our PIV lab.
- In 2005, atsec became an ISO 9001 and BS 7799 certified company in Germany, and also added BS 7799 certification to our previous ISO 9001 certification in the U.S.
- In 2005, atsec increased our visibility in the IT security community by enhancing our website, pursuing PR opportunities, and sponsoring the ACSAC conference in Tucson.
- In 2005, atsec expanded our leadership in international standards efforts, including Dr. Oliver Weissmann’s recognition for outstanding achievement in co-editing ISO/IEC 17799:2005.
- In 2005, atsec invested in new markets in Asia and investigated additional opportunities in Europe and South America.
In addition to investing in our own growth and success, atsec also invests in the future of children in need. In 2005, we continued our tradition of giving by contributing to Habitat for Humanity International, International Foundation for Terror Act Victims, Chinese Children’s Orphanage (Tianjin), Network for Good (for tsunami relief), Shriners Hospitals for Children, SOS Children’s Villages, and the Red Cross (for Katrina relief).
