atsec Provides Common Criteria Evaluator Course for ISCCC

Beijing, China – atsec was invited by the China Information Security Certification Center (hereinafter “ISCCC”) to give an information security course on Common Criteria.

The course lecturer was Dr. Yi Mao, a principal consultant of atsec. Technical experts from ISCCC participated in the five-day course which focused on several major topics, such as the basic concepts of Common Criteria, the security functional requirements, the security assurance requirements, and performing evaluations. There were in-depth discussions and interactions between the lecturer and students during the training. All of the students took the examination at the end of the course and commented that they benefited greatly from the training activity, and the course has been helpful to improve their work.

This course is another example of atsec’s effort to share security-related technical knowledge and experience, and work together with the industry all over the world to promote the development of information security.
