atsec publishes “IT Security Rally” flash game

Austin, TX – atsec information security has published its “IT Security Rally” flash game. We invite all those interested in IT security standards to take a shot at the questions presented in the game at http://www.atsec.com/it-security-rally.
Andreas Fabis, Marketing Director for atsec, commented: “It is our goal to visualize IT security and make it more understandable. Putting tough topics like IT security standards in a game presents a fun way to check your knowledge.”
The game centers around four areas of IT security: Common Criteria, HIPAA, PCI and general IT security. At the end of each 10-question round, players will get a chance to review their answers and learn why they were right or wrong.
Along with the game, we are launching a competition! We invite you to contribute additional question/answers/explanation sets to be incorporated into the IT Security Rally game. Of course, seeing your question published is its own reward, but in addition, all entries will automatically be entered into a competition to pick the outstanding question/answers/explanations set from among all those submitted. On April 15th, a panel of atsec consultants will choose the best entry, and the winner will receive a $50 Amazon gift certificate.
Please send your question/answers/explanations sets to fabis@atsec.com. All entries become the property of atsec information security and may be incorporated into the IT Security Rally game without additional notification or compensation to the submitter. The decision of the judging panel is final. Employees of atsec and their families are not eligible to participate in the contest.
