Happy Birthday atsec!
2008-01-11On the 11th of January atsec celebrates its 8th birthday. We are very happy that atsec is still in excellent shape. The company is growing, healthy and strong.

A lot happened during these 8 years. Everybody interested in the company's history is invited to have a look into our news section to get an overview of the past year.
It is a nice tradition within atsec that each year another consultant writes a laudation including a very personal view of the company. Please have a look at this year's laudation written by Andreas Fabis:

Andreas Fabis' Laudatio: In my pre-atsec life, I once worked for an Internet start-up and it was like magic: a flat hierarchy, decisions made in a snap, people able to focus on work that interested them, and everything moved fast. After about a year things slowed down, hierarchies became established, seemingly arbitrary procedures were imposed and, finally, there were no more free soft drinks … the magic was gone. I am happy to say that at atsec, I found the magic once again: atsec is a fast-moving company, the hierarchies are flat, and the personal needs of the employees are not trampled for the biggest possible profit. atsec is a fun place to work and blissfully free of corporate politics. The support we give each other and the willingness to share knowledge is wonderful to experience. I am proud to work for a company that has overcome cultural and technical challenges; weathered legislative changes; and managed a very diverse staff so successfully and with so much passion for eight years in a row.
