99BiLL completes PCI DSS assessment through atsec information security
2009-06-02Beijing, China – atsec information security announces that 99BiLL, an Internet company providing online payment platform services, has successfully completed a Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) compliance assessment of its card holder data environment. With the rapid development of the payment card industry, the protection of payment card data is more and more important, and PCI DSS has become the uniform industry standard. 99BiLL’s successful PCI DSS compliance assessment confirms that their security controls for payment card data enable them to fulfill the PCI DSS requirements, and also shows that their information security practices have achieved a standard that is recognized around the world.
atsec offers an advanced methodology in establishing information security management systems (ISMS) that integrate PCI DSS requirements with ISO/IEC 27001 best practices, and also may include risk assessment, penetration testing and other services to assure the security of data. During this project, both parties successfully integrated atsec’s methodology into 99BiLL’s current management system, with the additional expectation that the new management system will benefit 99BiLL’s business development capability, as well as securing the data it manages.
atsec is a qualified security assessor (QSA) and approved scanning vendor (ASV) accredited by the PCI Security Standards Council.
