The story behind the Futurists

Inspiration for the design of atsec's new website came from Futurism, the international art movement of the early 20th century devoted to the beauty of speed, technology, and science. The art of the period often captured movement, breaking motion into small sequences and incorporating the dimension of time by offering a wide range of angles on the subject. The art is not only colorful and aesthetically pleasing, but dynamic, creative, original ... forward thinking. The Futurism movement lasted only a decade, from 1909 through the 1920s, but its legacy endures in its influence on 20th century art movements, including Art Deco, Surrealism, and Dada ... influences that persist to this day.
atsec, too, is dynamic, creative, original, and forward thinking. We are a leader in information security, a position we have built on by setting a standards and methodologies framework that addresses the information security concerns of our own customers, and offers a sound basis for the success of the entire industry. We recognize that to continue to be a leader in the information security business, we must continue to offer relevant solutions to real problems. We must be dynamic, not resting on past successes, but anticipating new challenges. We must be forward thinking to identify emerging information security needs. We must be creative to plan a successful strategy to address those needs. We must be original to earn our continuing position as a leader in the information security business.
