atsec holds Common Criteria training for Chinese security experts

A one-day advanced Common Criteria (CC) training course was offered by atsec at China Information Security Certification Center (ISCCC) for China product experts in the field of information security. This training attracted active participation and communication from ISCCC, product test laboratories, and leading manufacturers, e.g., Neusoft, Shanghai Huahong, HED, Watchdata, Tongfang, and Nsfocus.

atsec Germany’s Michael Robrecht, who is a senior consultant and experienced Common Criteria evaluator, gave this training presentation. Mr. Robrecht introduced the key changes in the latest version of the standard, version 3.1; discussed the process and procedure of CC evaluation under the German BSI scheme; and demonstrated the evaluation tool developed by atsec. Course attendees participated in in-depth discussions on interesting topics, including key points of EAL4, evaluation evidence, and FLR requirement in the life-cycle class.
