atsec information security at the 26th Annual Computer Security Applications Conference in Austin
2010-11-30Austin, TX – atsec information security will be attending this year’s Annual Computer Security Applications Conference in Austin (December 6th to 10th).
The ACSAC is an internationally-recognized forum where practitioners, researchers, and developers in information system security meet to learn and to exchange practical ideas and experiences.
atsec will be present with a booth during both the conference and the career fair on the 9th of December from 6pm to 8pm.
atsec consultant Courtney Cavness will give a poster presentation titled “Inherent Problems in the Information Technology Supply Chain” on Thursday, December 9th (6pm to 9pm in the Ballroom Foyer).
We would also like you to join us for the tribute to Paul Karger on Wednesday, December 8th (5:45pm in Ballroom AB).
Dr. Paul Karger was a Research Staff Member in IBM's Thomas J. Watson Research Center. His recent work was on automated test generation for common criteria evaluations and on developing a high-assurance, penetration-resistant operating system for smart cards, including the design of new mandatory secrecy and integrity access control models for commercial applications.
